Founded in 2010, Sunny Steel pipe manufacturing P.L.C is already one of Ethiopia’s largest producers of hollow sections, round pipes, and LTZ steel profiles. The company is also one of the largest producer of common nails in the country. The steel manufacturing business acquires wire rods, hot rolled and cold rolled coils and turns them into high quality finished products. Operating through three slitting lines, 10 tube mill production lines, two cut to length lines, and nail making machines, we produce a wide range of products such as rectangular and square hollow sections, round pipes, LTZ profiles, sheet metals and different size nails. Sunny sells its products to all kinds of potential buyers such as government agencies, building contractors, wholesalers, retailers as well as end users throughout the country. The company operates through three modern production plants. The factory / distribution center is located in Hana Mariam area of Addis Ababa and occupies a 10,000 square meter of land. The second plant is located in Kality area and occupies a 17,800 square meter of land. The third factory is in Kilinto area, in the outskirt of Addis Ababa and is built in a 18,000 square meter area. Currently the company produces over 70,000 metric tons of steel products per year with a production capacity of over 100,000 metric tons. With its mission of providing quality products at competitive prices, Sunny Steel is rapidly expanding its share in the local market. Currently, the company is one of the largest suppliers of hollow sections, LTZ profiles, and round pipes in the country. Under its existing operations, the sunny steel has 346 permanent and 15 contract employees.
