The company was founded by two young entrepreneurs from West Africa. It all started in the summer of 2019 during a trip to Senegal by making an excursion to the rural areas of the country, more precisely to Thiès (one of the 14 regions of Senegal). We saw large volumes of mangoes piled up rotting at the edge of the orchards. This phenomenon is due to the overabundance of mangoes because they all ripen at the same time and do not find enough buyers. Back in France, we decided to find a solution to eradicate this problem. We have set ourselves the goal of supporting farmers to sell their products and thus avoid this kind of loss, hence the birth of the SKADAVE company in 2020. It is an international company specializing in the production and import/export of exotic fruits and vegetables. Our mission today is to help producers by positioning ourselves as a facilitator of access to the international market. Our vision is to share the flavors of tropical products with the Western world while contributing to the development of Africa. We attach particular importance to the positive impact that we can bring to the inhabitants of these agricultural areas.
