Burner, Gas Fuel, Diesel Fuel, Heavy Oil Fuel, Lpg Fuel More Info:
The burner is the combustion mechanism that provides combustion and control by mixing the air and fuel. Burner combustion is defined as the release of heat as a result of the chemical reaction of the combustible components in the fuel with oxygen. The terms burner and combustion are two concepts that cannot be considered separately. The logic of providing heating with the burner is as follows: The fuel comes to the burner and combustion is carried out in the boiler with the desired amount of fuel and air, thus heating the water in the boiler.
Burners are classified according to different criteria. Types of burners are divided into 3 main classes.
Burner Types According to Working Principle
1 a. Atmospheric Burner
1.b. Blown Burner
Burner Types According to the Fuel Used
2 a. Liquid Fuel (Diesel, Fuel Oil, Kerosene)
2.b. Gas (LPG, LNG, Biogas)
2.c. Solid Fuel (Coal, Wood Stone, Shell)
Burner Types According to Atomization of Fuel
3 a. High Pressure/Spray
3.b. Low Pressure/Rotative
3.c. Steam and Air Splitting
Solid fuel burners are suitable for use with larger areas. Solid fuel burner can be easily preferred in central heating systems of residences and sites, and where high heat generation is required in industry. Solid fuel burner; burns powdered coal, olive pomace and other alternative solid fuels.
Liquid fuel burners; evaporative burners (with carburetor), pump burners and rotary burners are collected in three groups. The use of the evaporative burner for heating is not common. Pump burners and rotary burners are mostly used in heating boilers. Pump burners are made as monoblock up to 400 kg/h capacities. This type of burner is located on the fan, pump, motor, filter, heater and control elements. Pump burner types can be fully automatic, single or double stage; control can be on-off or proportional. Proportional control provides fuel economy especially at large capacities. Rotary burner types are mostly preferred in large enterprises.
