Everyone knows the fashion industry’s impact on our planet is immense. Many rolled up sleeves, late night discussions, and steely determination later, Palison was born. Our mission is to bring sustainable fashion to everyone. As a business, we are working to do our part by promoting ethical practices that create high-quality, low-impact, long-lasting products. We carefully consider our fabrics and materials and work towards reducing waste, chemicals, and plastics that jeopardise the planet's ecosystems. We are a work in progress. We practice these 4 principles: 1. Organic & Natural Materials: We only choose fabrics that care for our environment so that people and the planet are not exposed to harmful pesticides. By using organic fabrics and materials and non-toxic dyes, both our customers and the planet stay safe and protected. 2. Ethical Practices: We ensure and provide safe working space, fair living wage, and offer employee perks like health care facilities. Everyone in our supply chain must be treated with respect, and must make responsible choices when it comes to carbon emissions, water use, and chemical use. 3. No To Plastic: Plastic is the worst! That's why we don't use plastic in our labels and use biodegradable packaging. Our hemp T-shirt only uses 2% spandex which is significantly less synthetic fibers than a typical T-shirt. 4. Made In India We believe in our local communities and support our garment workers, artisans and craftsmen. We encourage women from less privileged backgrounds to acquire new skills; to give them the self-confidence and self-esteem required to earn on their own. We reduce transportation emissions as all our goods are knitted, cut, sewn, and dyed in Delhi-NCR only.
