As a manufacturer of printing inks, we know what our customers expect from us? Among many things, our customers do not want to worry about their inks not performing. Consider this; the largest cost center in most print jobs is the substrate, than the operating cost of the equipment itself and then all of the peripherals associated with producing the job. One of the smallest cost centers of the job itself is the cost of the printing ink. What would happen to this chain of cost centers if the inks did not perform or were not the right shade, opacity and so forth?
