Born to a Turkish mother and Lebanese father, Merve grew up in Istanbul. She graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of International Relations. After graduation she stayed in Cairo for 1.5 years. Merve discovered her passion towards precious gems and jewelry while she was living in Cairo, capital of Egypt.Experiencing the rich Middle Eastern jewelry culture there, upon her return to Turkey,she decided to get deeper education in the art of jewelry and began her own journey of creating jewelry with precious & semiprecious stones. Now she is designing in her own jewelry studio in Istanbul, as well as having her education from Gemological Institute of America in the field of Gemology.
