Located at Hacettepe University Technology&Development Centre, this ISO9001:2000 certified Research&Development laboratory was established in early 2003. Specific, patented-pending Single Nucleotide Mutation (SNP) Analysis System were developed to detect FactorV Leiden(G1691A),FactorV Cambridge(G1091C),FactorII Prothrombin(G20210A),MTHFR C677T and MTHFR A1298C mutations. Multiplex PCR development for detecting some FMF (Famillial Mediterranean Fever) and Cystic Fibrosis mutations ae in progress. The system we developed is veryfast,easy, confirmative and reproducible. It does not require any specific equipment, materials or specialized technical skills. The system can be run on most Real Time PCR equipment.
