Due to the structural characteristics of Merino fibers, the fibers themselves are not directly embedded into the patch. The concept is based on a special extraction (tincturing) process, in which active compounds are extracted from the fibers and stabilized in a liquid medium (oil or alcohol), and then incorporated into a patch for direct skin application.
