Originally founded in 1972 as TEKSAN by four ex-technicians from the military aircraft maintenance factory in Kayseri, our manufacturing business started as a small 50m2 workshop, initially producing machine spare parts to the largest textile plants in Turkey at the time. Our facilities evolved with the developing business and reached 1,000m2 initially, and then in 1997, the company was renamed as ASTEKSAN and moved to our current large manufacturing facility located in the Organized Industrial Zone of Kayseri with 10,000m2 closed, and 10,000m2 opened area. Starting in 1997, ASTEKSAN expanded its production lines and started manufacturing various urban furniture including but not limited to bus stops, barriers, garbage bins, street lights.
